Hermann Binek began with boxing as an Amateur in 1999 at the age of 26 and achieved his first title a few month later at the Austrian National Championship at the end of 1999. As the Austrian Super Heavyweight Champion he participated at the World Cup Tournament in Czechoslovakia in 2000. His amateur record was 10 Wins and 1 loss.

After Hermann made his professional Boxing debut in Berlin in July 2001, he focused on international fighting and traveled to Los Angeles, California, where he won his seventh fight by t.K.O.

After a training injury on his biceps tendon he returned to Germany for surgery and stayed there for Rehab. After successful rehabilitation Hermann returned to USA for work out  and preparation for his career.

Since 2005, Herman Binek is managed and represented by a Manager from Germany. With his new team he is on the ideal path to accomplish international success and continued development as a boxer with the goal of the World Heavyweight Title in 2008
